It includes managing technical processes: both within the firm between functions such as procurement, manufacturing and marketing; and between organisations such as manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Students will gain an overall understanding of supply chain structures and develop an understanding of procurement and inventory management models, the role of enabling technologies within the supply chain, and performance measurements techniques.
