People are an organisation's most valuable resource. The Human Resource Management (HRM) minor focuses on the people side of organisations. It is relevant to students wishing to expand their knowledge of HRM and people management to enhance their skills portfolio.

Students will learn key management theories and concepts including organisational culture, social responsibility and ethics, managing human resources and employment relations, strategic management and leadership. It focuses on facilitating, acquisition and development of staff, positively influencing their employment performance, and monitoring and managing the processes of staff retention and turnover.
