Learning outcomes

Course Learning Outcomes are statements of learning achievement that are expressed in terms of what the learner is expected to know, understand and be able to do upon completion of the course. Students graduating from this course will be able to:

Utilise a foundational understanding of international legal and policy frameworks to discuss how Pacific fisheries resources are managed, conserved and developed.
2.
Analyse the complex relationships between international fisheries law, policy, science, economics and development in the management of fisheries resources.
3.
Formulate clear communications regarding relevant knowledge, data and ideas about fisheries management, conservation and development to diverse audiences.
4.
Apply critical thinking to reflect on the practical application of key concepts and principles of fisheries management, conservation and development in the Pacific context.
