The Graduate Certificate is also suitable for those people who may not have an undergraduate qualification but significant experience in medical and health leadership and management, this would include Practice Managers, managers of aged care centres and services. The Graduate Certificate is a pathway for further studies or roles in the sector.

Credit for prior learning

Articulation Arrangements

Students who have completed the Clinical Excellence Commission Applied Safety & Quality Program (CEC), or the Effective Leadership in Health Program (ELP - a program delivered by UOW School of Nursing for SESLHD), will receive 12 credit points of advanced standing. Credit is given for these programs completed successfully within the last 10 years as follows: CEC = SMAH917 and SMAH915; ELP = SMAH917 and SMAH918.
