This degree is available on a full-time or part-time basis at the Wollongong and Sydney campuses. In addition to business and commerce streams’ candidates, this program has also been a popular option for those who have an undergraduate degree in a non-business area. It is an academically-rigorous, professionally-oriented, and rather flexible masters’ degree program in international business. We were the first in Australian Universities to offer this unique degree.<The course comprises of twelve subjects: four foundation subjects at 800 level, four core subjects at 900 level, three 900 level elective subjects, and BUS 922 Business Research Capstone. International students may also select GWP900 International Workplace Practice as an elective subject option.>
Students successfully completing this degree can receive credit towards a second Master degree, to take their study period up to 2 years full time (18 subjects, total of 108 credit points). Students may select a second Master from any of the specialist Masters degrees offered by the Faculty of Business.

Course structure
The Master of International Business requires the successful completion of 72 credit points of subjects comprising:
- 9 specified subjects - foundation, core and capstone as specified below;
- 18 credit points of elective subjects at 900 level from subjects offered by the School of Business within the Faculty of Business and Law (excludes MBA and some specialised 900 level subjects).
The foundation subjects should be completed within the first two sessions of study; MGNT912 is recommended to complete within the final two sessions of study and; the capstone subject, BUS 922 Business Research Capstone should be completed within the final session of study.
