Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the multiple sources of power in international politics and analyse at an introductory level their impacts on different topics in a variety of contexts.
2.
Identify and understand the main actors, structures, and processes at play in global politics.
3.
Demonstrate and apply understandings of how international relations theories can help to explain a range of contemporary global issues.
4.
Develop research and analytical skills to examine change at the international level.
