Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Develop and apply theoretical and technical knowledge of concepts and legal principles applicable to legal and equitable interests in real and personal property;
2.
Develop and apply theoretical and technical knowledge of the legal principles concerning title to land in Australia including Native Title;
3.
Apply and communicate a critical understanding of these legal principles to solve complex problems concerning the acquisition and transfer of property rights, with greater attention to land;
4.
Critically analyse and evaluate legal principles and policy considerations applicable to Australian property law and identify potential areas for legal reform; and
5.
Critically evaluate and communicate the role of property in Australian society.
