Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Critically review the sources of the law of business organisations in Australia, encompassing both Commonwealth and state jurisdictions;
2.
Communicate and critically engage in debates relating to the competing interests of stakeholders in the law of business organisations and analyse their respective positions;
3.
Apply the law of business organisations to formulate strategies and processes aimed at pre-empting potential issues and devising solutions to existing problems;
4.
Critically evaluate the interface between the law of business organisations and the business landscape in Australia, with a particular emphasis on the realisation of social justice; and
5.
Critically evaluate the domestic and international factors contributing to and characterising changes in Australian corporations law.
