Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Explain the strategic management process through a range of strategic management theories and concepts
2.
Demonstrate an understanding of and apply key concepts in analysing and developing business strategies. Demonstrate a critical understanding of strategic management theories in analysing and developing advanced strategic thinking to a variety of organisational contexts.
3.
Demonstrate knowledge in critically analysing strategic contexts of business enterprise to identify and interpret an organisation's internal and external environment through written assignments and case presentations.
4.
Critically evaluate strategic management models and tools to determine evidence-based best practice strategy analysis and execution in specific organisational contexts and situations.
