Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the impact of war on Australians (both combatants and civilians);
2.
Critically analyse the influence of Australians’ experiences of war on the current political, cultural, and social landscape;
3.
Critically evaluate the work of historians in the field;
4.
Express clearly in written and/or oral form, views on issues raised by the subject;
5.
Demonstrate the ability to undertake research using both primary and secondary sources.
