Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Analyse the complementary roles of different stakeholders including clients, users, and analysts in the development of computer based information systems.
2.
Identify system requirements using different fact-finding techniques.
3.
Perform analysis of computer-based information systems, and present a system description using different modelling approaches such as data and process models, business models, and object models.
4.
Demonstrate an appreciation of CASE tools as an aid to systems modelling.
5.
Work in a group to apply the knowledge and skills presented in this subject to typical system analysis scenarios
