Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Describe the main web technologies in use and select appropriate technologies for a particular context or application.
2.
Examine various Web formats and standards and apply them appropriately.
3.
Create scripts that handle input from forms displayed in web browsers.
4.
Configure and install a Web server that provides controlled access.
5.
Design, build and implement simple Web-based applications using mark-up languages and scripting, with an emphasis on client-side scripting.
