Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Product Design Cycle, including the roles of those supporting engineering design.
2.
Undertake problem identification, formulation and solution within the framework of a Product Design Team.
3.
Function effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team, with the capability to be a team leader/manager as well as a team member.
4.
Describe a project and demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting project management.
5.
Write structured reports an deliver organised presentations on design activities, to both peers and customers.
6.
Perform structured, organised, and costed electronic design utilising skills from core ECTE200-level subjects.
