Students will … For more content click the Read More button below.   The professional experience offers the opportunity for those currently teaching, or with extensive teaching experience, to reflect critically on their existing teaching practices in a different teaching context. The subject provides appropriate reflective space to explore existing teaching beliefs and values that inform their professional identities. Contributing to this process of reflection is the valuable peer input provided the supervising teacher.   Students new to teaching will have the opportunity to experience a TESOL teaching environment, supervised by a TESOL qualified teacher.   Please note: You are responsible to find your own placement. It is recommended that you find a confirmed placement before census date, otherwise delays past this date may result in a fail grade for the subject. All students are required to successfully complete the PEx Orientation Module before they commence their placement. For further details about the placement, please refer to the TESOL Professional Experience Handbook available via the Professional Experience section on the School of Education site.
