Develop a critical perspective on research methods and publications in the field of second language education
2.
Apply knowledge of qualitative research practices to exploring aspects of EAL teaching and learning
3.
Engage in a small-scale qualitative research activity in an EAL teaching and learning environment
4.
Apply principles of data analysis and interpretation to EAL teaching and learning research data
5.
Compile and present research findings in an appropriate form
6.
Reflect critically on the role of practitioner research and the contributing role research makes to professional knowledge and practice in TESOL teaching environments.
