Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Describe and explain the function, process and development of law in Australia;

Outline the main principles of a range of areas of the law, with a particular focus on legal issues that relate to business in Australia;

Apply these principles to the analysis of hypothetical problems; and
4.
Use appropriate practical legal skills including: basic legal research techniques, legal reasoning and interpretation.
