Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Analyse simple combinational and sequential circuits.
2.
Design a combinational circuit with a minimum of hardware using standard SSI and MSI integrated circuits.
3.
Design a synchronous sequential circuit with a small number of states and inputs using standard SSI and MSI integrated circuits.
4.
Demonstrate appropriate laboratory skills.
