Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Identify the role and impact of accounting in organisations and society.
2.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the purpose of accounting information for both internal and external stakeholders to make sound business decision.
3.
Review and explain the purposes of accounting reports in order to provide information about the results of operations, financial position and performance, as well as social and environmental impacts.
4.
Analyse accounting data and information, including the use of ICT, to critically evaluate and effectively communicate and forecast organisational performance.
5.
To develop effective collaborative communicators in formal and informal situations across a range of media.
