On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Determine what high quality pedagogy and practice looks like in ECEC settings
2.
Plan effective, feasible and well considered action research to build an appropriate project with your PPP mentor and service
3.
Critically analyse the literature on quality early childhood education and care identifying implications for practice
4.
Explain and evaluate action research theory and practice
5.
Demonstrate appropriate scholarly documentation of action research in the form of a substantive project report
6.
Demonstrate knowledge of current issues in Early Childhood theory and practice
