On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Design a major research project on an engineering management topic, including the development of project scope, schedule and risk management plan.
2.
Survey and review relevant literature, design appropriate methods of data collection and analysis, and critically evaluate complex information, including any empirical data collected.
3.
Effectively and independently manage a research project to achieve key milestones.
4.
Develop a design or set of recommendations based on sound analysis of information.
5.
Present a major project, including plans, methods and outcomes, in both written and oral forms to a professional standard.
