Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, identity, linguistic and social backgrounds.

Develop an understanding of effective strategies for meeting the learning needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Demonstrate the ability to establish appropriate & supportive learning environments.
4.
Demonstrate and understanding of national and local educational priorities & policies that impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
