Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Develop all four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in French.
2.
Reach level A1 proficiency of the CEFR, which is described as follows: 'student can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. Can Introduce themselves and others and ask question and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows, and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help'.
