Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Express themselves comfortably and spontaneously in French or Indonesian or Italian or Japanese or Mandarin or Spanish at an advanced level in increasingly complex situations;
2.
Demonstrate sustained mastery of grammar and speech conventions in French or Indonesian or Italian or Japanese or Mandarin or Spanish;
3.
Discriminate between informal and formal registers of the relevant language both orally and in writing;
4.
Critically evaluate the major themes and issues of Francophone or Indonesian or Italian or Japanese or Chinese or Hispanic society and culture.
