Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Analyse the fundamental elements of the Commonwealth Constitutional and parliamentary framework;

Evaluate the legislative process with a targeted focus on its importance in statutory interpretation, and reflect on key components of statutes and delegated legislation from interpretative perspectives;
3.
Critically engage with rules and methods of statutory interpretation and apply these to complex fact situations; and
4.
Communicate an in-depth understanding of legal reasoning, including drawing conclusions, in a clear, effective and persuasive manner.
