Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Identify and analyse various traditional Chinese social values that are undergoing changes today;
2.
Identify the differences in political, social and educational systems between China and Western countries, including Australia;
3.
Present orally on the topics related to contemporary society;
4.
Understand the requirements for academic writing in Western countries and demonstrate appropriate skills to write Chinese essays;
5.
Translate English texts into Chinese.
