Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Discuss communication theories and the ethical and social implications of these theories in the context of public relations.
2.
Evaluate the evolution of public relations and its conceptualisation through diverse theoretical perspectives.
3.
Critically examine conceptual frameworks relevant to public relations practice.
4.
Evaluate how societal and technological contexts influence or challenge public relations concepts.
5.
Analyse and present contemporary public relations issues, orally (to an audience) and in writing, using relevant concepts and theories.
