Handbook

This is a full-time 18-week subject, which comprises an Elective, a Selective and a Pre-internship clinical placement, and the duration of each is six weeks. An Elective and a Selective placement provide an opportunity for students to engage with the diversity of clinical medicine. The Pre-internship placement is designed for students to become familiar with the role and responsibilities of an intern in the hospital. Students direct their learning toward developing professional, practical and Culturally Safe knowledge, skills and professional behaviours relating closely to the requirements for practice as a junior doctor (Postgraduate Years 1&2).
