Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Explain the role of key parties and institutions in employment relations, and the operating context.
2.
Discuss the processes and outcomes in employment relations, such as bargaining, negotiation, conflict, unfair dismissal, employee voice and representation.
3.
Recognise and analyse relevant theoretical perspectives on the employment relationship.
4.
Develop an informed stance towards employment relations issues and policy debates, by applying the various perspectives and through personal reflection.
5.
Develop an ability to explain and address issues and challenges in the employment relationship.
