On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Outline patterns and trends in the global burden of disease and describe how the risk of disease varies across different contexts
2.
Distinguish between socio-cultural, and environmental and commercial determinants and illustrate how these impact on global health
3.
Appraise research and best practices to inform the development of evidence-based solutions for global health challenges
4.
Interpret and critique health system and policy responses at national, sub regional and global levels to a range of major health problems confronting global health
