This subject develops students' mathematical literacy and understanding of key physics concepts related to energy and climate change. It examines the physics of different forms of energy supply and evaluates strategies to decarbonise societies. PHYS254 addresses United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7,8,9,11,12 and 13, and develops students' intercultural competence through examination of Indigenous perspectives on sustainable societies.
