Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the Code and UOW’s research policies. Abide by UOW’s plagiarism and ethics approval policies for human and animal research
2.
maintain high standards of responsible research, respect research participants, animals used in research and the environment maintain security of data and report possible cases of research misconduct
3.
be aware of and develop arguments about limitations, ethical and privacy issues in the design, analysis and written reports in their area of study;
4.
understand conventions relating to publication and authorship of research results and the acknowledgement of work of others
5.
understand how to communicate, disseminate and promote their own research to their researcher communities and more broadly.
6.
understand and plan for sustainable and impactful research
