Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Describe the fundamental physical and chemical changes in Earth’s atmosphere that are leading to warming of our planet and how Earth’s climate is regulated over long timescales
2.
Evaluate the human behaviours that had led to climate change, including energy production, agriculture, lifestyle, and population
3.
Locate and synthesise climate data and use appropriate tools and techniques to analyse, interpret and present data
4.
Communicate information on climate change and natural hazards using appropriate technologies and communication strategies
5.
Articulate the complex physical and societal impacts and risks associated with climate change and natural hazards and outline strategies to manage risk and uncertainty
6.
Identify and analyse the physical processes responsible for triggering climate change induced or other natural hazards
