Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:

Gain knowledge of key ideas and concepts in feminist activism (theory and practice).
2.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of how core developments in feminism and queer theory have contributed to the cultural studies of gender and sexuality
3.
Demonstrate a critical awareness of both the relationship between the body, gender, and sexuality (both in a local and global context) AND the intersections between race, gender and sexuality.
