Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Demonstrate competency in moving, planning and implementing group and individual physical education and movement programs in the contexts of the course.
2.
Display an understanding of both benefits for and barriers to engaging in lifelong movement development and physically active pursuits across the lifespan.
3.
Recognise, appreciate and critically analyse the skills needed for engagement in the range of movement contexts that can be pursued across the lifespan.
4.
Understand and apply the principles of teaching and learning when engaging and educating in aquatics, athletics and adventure contexts.
5.
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the use of information technology skills to analyse and improve performance and pedagogical practice.
