Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Demonstrate understanding of key environmental, social and geographical conditions for the specific international fieldwork location.
2.
Review and evaluate the role of cultural difference and inter-cultural skills in collaborative research and learning.
3.
Demonstrate competence and familiarity with: key concepts in geographical field methods; and appropriate communication forms including oral and written communication.
4.
Undertake self-directed research to effectively access and evaluate data on specific topics in international locations.
5.
Critically and articulately reflect on the experiences of cross-cultural engagement as demonstrated in the subject.
