Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1.
Identify models of behavioural theory and factors influencing workplace health and safety.
2.
Analyse existing OHS management systems (OHSMS) designed to influence safety culture and improve work health and safety outcomes and justify recommendations for change.
3.
Design an OHS management system and demonstrate the ability to identify, apply and justify effective strategies to eliminate or reduce potential for error and at risk behaviour in a workplace setting.
4.
Thorough peer review and critique of OHSMS, engage in knowledge translation practices.
