Contact Hours:5 hrs lecture/tutorial per week, 3 hrs practical per week, 2 hrs tutorials per week over five weeks, 1hr workshop per week over six weeks

Plan, organise and deliver a group exercise session;

Display, teach and perform muscle stretching;
4.
Develop exercises specific to muscle groups;

Develop exercises and exercise programmes for specific tasks, sports or occupations;

Perform a needs, movement or task analysis;
7.
Have a comprehensive understanding of resistance and endurance training literature;
8.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the types of adaptations achieved via different exercise protocols;
9.
Analyse, plan, develop and deliver an exercise; training programme;
10.
Progress exercises from specific isolated exercises to functional activities;
11.
Competent in the use of a variety of resistance and endurance training equipment;
12.
Have the skill to develop and conduct assessments of physical performance;
13.
Engage in practice‐based and work‐integrated based learning.
