The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a postgraduate research degree that develops research skills and provides students with the opportunity to conduct research in their chosen discipline.The MPhil consists of 24 credit points of coursework and 72 credit points of research thesis, comprising 40,000 words or equivalent. Course structure

The coursework component of the MPhil includes 24 credit points of coursework subjects, as specified below.
The student’s supervisors, in consultation with the School's Head of Postgraduate Studies, will recommend the appropriate elective subjects for students in all other disciplines.
On successful completion of coursework subjects, students work with their supervisors to complete a research thesis.

Learning outcomes

Course Learning Outcomes are statements of learning achievement that are expressed in terms of what the learner is expected to know, understand and be able to do upon completion of the course. Students graduating from this course will be able to:
